Re: Risky 's very old rich guy
The chap's name was Bernard Baruch (spelling?)....when asked how he made so much money, his answer was
...."by selling early"....he was a giant of the first half of 20th century (FDR consulted with him re: not to make a scene about tendering all his gold to the US gov't in the thirties)....his biography is fabulous and I highly recommend it...
RE: Pinetree.....this is a fabulous stock for exposure to a lot of ostensibly crappy little juniors, and many good ones....instead of creating your own basket of juniors....just buy this co. if you like the story...the junior story that is...
and I love the story and run my own little "capital corp" as probably many of you do....but the junior explorers have not really moved yet despite many great gains of late...in 1980 many of our penny stocks went to $5 and $10....
if you believe that commodity prices will steadily rise in a long term bull market....then don't go selling this at these levels...add 10 or $15 to share price before taking profit....MANY junior stock prices are still not close to the prices that occured after the $500 gold price was hit in 2006...heck even Pinetree was at something like $16 then....who knows what next catalyst will be....$1400...$1500?.....
In closing IMO this PNP will perform very well....I think that one of the reasons for the debacle of last few yrs was of course share price decline in everything since 2006 but also I believe that PInetree "chased "many Uranium Co's and bought ext. high....since those days they've acquired so many more shares in jrs. at VERY cheap prices ....
Once again the junior market hasn't even begun to move yet IMO and holders of PNP stand to do extremely well....
