Lack of data

Lack of databy Reuters - Nov 5
Namibia has potentially huge undiscovered offshore oil and gas fields, but a lack of data
is hampering investment into this nation - so a petroleum official said on Fri.

My comments:
I presume it was said by Mulunga at the African Oil Conference.  Strange that there could be a lack
of data after Sintez & partnters spent $130M on Kunene #1.  Sounds like Sintez did not even share
data with Govt.  So, now that the core samples are in a Lab, the fact they sat somewhere for 2+ years,
will that make it more difficult for the Lab to assess???  If it is true they have 13.5 tcf of gas, will the
core samples still show this potential, or would something get lost in the sitting???  Could the
results of core samples be significant to be the data that they need.  I am surprised
the resource assessment conducted by Netherland Sewell would not  be considered pertinent
data,( for him to say lack of data.)
