New Fast Growing Mining Camp in Quebec Sees BonTerraDrill 17.06g/t Gold over 13.5m, 21.24g/t Gold over 7.73m - MiningJournal Review

Tue Nov 9, 10:40 AM
Mining MarketWatch Journal has published a review of BonTerra Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: BTR.V) (Pink Sheets: BONXF)(Frankfurt: 9BR) offering insight and opportunity afforded investors asBTR.V has encountered two high grade drill intercepts ~20 metres aparton its Eastern Extension property which is ideally situated in the newand rapidly developing mining camp of the Urban-Barry Segment of theAbitibi Greenstone Belt located ~170km NE of Val-d'Or in Quebec.

The Journal review with valuation commentary and chart may be found at https://miningmarketwatch.net/MMWbtrNov2010.pdf online.

Assay results from the first two holes, of six holes drilled to date, were released today (see November 9, 2010 release entitled “BonTerraReceives Drill Assays as High as 77.8 Grams Per Tonne Gold”) revealinga drill intercept of 13.50 metres at 17.06 grams per tonne gold in onehole and a drill intercept of 7.73 metres at 21.24 grams per tonne goldin the other. The second hole also contained a sample one metre longwhich returned a gold grade of 77.80 grams per tonne gold.

Prime Location with Results -- Is BonTerra the next Windfall?
The significance of this new gold bearing zone discovery on BonTerra’sEastern Extension property cannot be understated as this may wellrepresent the beginning of a rapid phase of growth for BonTerra.BonTerra’s area claim groups are situated next to Metanor Resources'Barry deposit property and open pit mine which contains 309,500 oz Auof Indicated Resources (7,701,000 t at 1.25 g/t Au), 471,950 oz Au ofInferred Resources (10,411,000 t at 1.41 g/t Au), is wide open forexpansion and in an area ripe with numerous anomalies leading many tospeculate a 4+ million ounce gold target is readily achievable withlong term plans to build a concentrator on site. The BonTerra claimsare also located ~10 km from the Windfall property presently owned byEagle Hill Exploration (EAG - V) which recently announced verypromising drilling results, in fact, only one year after acquiring theproject, Eagle Hill Exploration has completed significant steps towardsthe definition of a large gold system, potentially amenable to bulkmining. BonTerra is also in close proximity to Amseco, Beaufield, GlenEagle, Urbana and Freewest, Murgor and Noront.

Historically the Eastern Extension property was drilled in 1997 (5drill holes for 830 metres) and 1998 (22 drill holes for 2500 metres)and identified two mineralized zones. BL-97-01 intercepted 22 metres at8.31 grams per tonne gold in zone 1. Within this intercept there was asub-intercept reported at 13.2 metres at 13.5 g/t gold. Zone 2 wasdrilled in 1998. This zone was said to have a strike of 450 feet(137.16 metres) from the surface to a depth of 300 feet (91.44 metres).

To date this year the company has completed 6 holes and is currentlydrilling the 7th hole on its two properties in the Urban-Barry segmentof the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. Core from the first two holes wereexpedited and just released, more results are to follow soon. HoleBA-10-01 twinned the historical drill hole BL-97.16. BA-10-02 twinnedanother historical drill hole, BL-97-06.

It is important to remember that area miners such as Aur Resources (nowTeck Cominco), Agnico-Eagle and Sigma are currently mining at depths ofbetween 5,000 and 8,000 feet. BonTerra’s find has the potential toincreases at depth and along strike. It is very common in this regionfor the grades to increase at depth and with the values BonTerra isintersecting near surface, it is clear that BTR.V is worth beinginvolved with now. With less than 36M shares outstanding (~44M fullydiluted) BonTerra Resources Inc. offers one of the best vehicles forinvestors seeking serious strong growth prospects in precious metals ina safe mining friendly jurisdiction.Journal has published a review of BonTerra Resources Inc.
