RE: RE: Good to SeeVictor:
Thanks for highlighting that. I don't come here as often as I used to -- since I've pretty much lost interest in LBE, aside from my morbid curiosity to see how long it stays around -- so I probably didn't answer your query.
You want to know my reasoning for saying Liberty is a tool of the Chinese to get some badly needed commodity? I would think that was self-evident. I don't know where you get your idea that the Chinese don't get nickel from LBE.
If you read the annual report, it says, in reference to the $30 million equity financing for example:
``The preferred shares shall:
a) Be redeemable by the Company at any time at a price equal to
.11 per share plus accrued and unpaid
dividends. The amount may be paid in cash or nickel concentrate."
Liberty has been paying much of their debt to JJ in nickel concentrate. So they do get the commodity directly from Liberty. And that's what they want. Which is why they don't care if they make money, and which is why I gave up ever getting back into this stock once the Chinese took a grip on the company. You were the one defending the move all along.
You say you're willing to admit an error in judgment. Don't you think that's long overdue as well? You've been wrong about this stock for years, and usually tried to deflect any criticism by pointing to ISM -- which is totally irrelevent. (And no , I've never owned ISM stock and have no desire to buy any.)
I don't know the circumstances of Nash's departure either. And although I've been critical of the way he's run the company, I don't doubt he was sincere in trying to make it a success. Nevertheless, once he sold out to the Chinese he must have known the game was over and the company was done for. That's why I said his departure was long overdue.
And frankly with Nash gone and the company now pretty officially toast, I would have expected you, Nickel and the rest of the Liberty cheerleaders to abandon ship. That's usually what happened on other bullboards when a company finally went under. So, yes, I'm surprised to see you still here... although I've noticed you have toned down your exuberance for this company in the last few posts.
