Why optimistic?

I wonder why people are optimistic about Niko and Vast and this hole. They lied to all of us during 2 month, they drilled a 30 m within 2 month, and now they tell the problems are resolved? I daubt. They not even told what exactly were the problems, other than it was the faulth of the rock. Forgive me, but i daubt on this too.
Look at WZR, as deeper they drilled as bigger the troubles. Why should all the remaining hole be more easy to drill? Somebody who understand can give us a hint, why? Why optimistic?
