RE: My apologies, but gee whiz

RE: My apologies, but gee whizI'm not going to apologize for my posts as I was responding to comments on the board.  There is that saying about "Those that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" that does however come to mind.

Anyway, someone posted about SXL's public relations.  I responded that the info was dated and incorrect, regardless of where it came from (their first post was from an nr 5 years ago).  I was simply clarifying an erred post.

As for the Agora...com comments.  I too feel that this is relevant to all such sites as Stockhouse.  Even though I haven't read that other site in years, I know that they now post the first digits of the internet address to prevent multiple aliases.  Could you imagine if SH would do that?  Would we have spammers and vulgar posts if participants knew that once they lose their id, there's no other to be had.  I sometimes wonder exactly how many others are really out there.  I could be talking to only one other person.  Who knows?  I may be naive or just plain stupid but I don't even know how to get an alias.  I admit to trying years ago, but got a message that an id already existed for my address.  Anyway, again I feel that it was relevant.

Yesterday a few people casually "dropped" another co.'s name that I had posted on their board.  I had no part of that and don't condone it in any way.  People only need to click on other's posting history to see where they're posting or what cos. are in their model portfolio.

I feel that our board has essentially become like all the others out there now.  I think it comes with the long awaited exposure we wanted.  Quality of posts and in depth discussions has definitely declined.  Also remember that so many of us have been here for years (virtually unheard of when investing in explorecos.), and have discussed every possible fundamental of the co. in depth, and several times over as newcomers come on board, so occasionally the "trivial" may get discussed.  But, we all know the potential that SLAM offers and are sticking around until that potential is realized.

I feel that quality begets quality.  Want a quality discussion.  Start one.
