RE: Entry Point
RE: Entry PointWith GM IPO (IPO - thats a good one) on Thursday I expect that all of the crisis in Europe will be 100% resolved (again) and you will see the markets surge for another few months.
As for Pilot Plants - Find me any "pilot" that is designed as more than 5000 bbls/day. Most are 1000 or under. Many Phase 1 Commercial are 15000 bbls/day (or less) - including Laricina.
Here is a list of SAGD projects Announced or approved as pilot.
Alberta Oilsands. Clearwater West - 4500 bbls/day (application)
BlackPearl - Blackrod - 500 bbls/day (Application)
ConocoPhillips - Surmont - 1200 bbls/day (operating)
E-T Energy - poplar Creek - 1000 bbls/day (operating)
Excelsior - hangingstone - 1000 bbls/day (operating)
Husky - McMullen - 755 bbls/day (application)
Laricina - germain - 5000 (Application)
MEG Energy - Christina Phase 1 - 3000 (Operating)
N-Solv - 2000 (Announced)
Petrobank - Whitesands - 1800 (Operating)
Sunshine Oilsands - Harper - <1000 (Approved)
Total E&P - Joslyn - 2000 (Suspended)
Value Creation Group - TriStar - 1000 (Application)
Koch Exploration - Gemini - 1200 (Application)
Pengrowth - Lindbergh - 2500 (Application)
Andora Energy -Swan Lake - 700 (Approved)
North peace - Red Earth - 1000 (CSS Operating)
So if someone tells you that most people consider a 10, 000 bbl per day plant a pilot - I would say that is not really accurate.
