Interesting that the slide "Location Advantages" has no arrows going to China. As I said in a previous posting, I can't understand why the Chinese would be interested in East Africa, strictly from a geographical perspective. As an aside, the Chinese are noted for being the toughest bargainers out there. They are probably trying to squeeze MAA to the point where there is little left for us. Hopefully some other corporations will show an interest. Too bad Vale is looking in Canada - Congo would be so close for them and the Brazilian market. Attraction - Canada not a banana republic, however, taxes must be so much less in Congo = > profit.
