RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: like it or not this will be ba1. rentner, you remind me of some random guy who loathes a particular sports franchise and insists they suck and they won't make the playoffs ... meanwhile they continue to win in spite of his foreboding.
2. tasser, i've always found it odd when people seem to make some sort of distinction between the internet and real life. this is all real life. i'm here typing somewhere out there, as you are, as rentner is. the differential in geographical location and means of communication do not alter 'real life' one iota.
3. this whole crap of comparing unx to eng is like comparing man 'a' driving a car after 1 330ml can of beer and man 'b' driving a car after consuming 10 330ml cans of beer and 7 shots of jack's finest liver kicker. unx has a book value of .26 and therefore at that max price 4.25, it was more than 16 times that value ... eng has a book of .35 and currently parks it at .70 ... a mere 2 times book. nothing to panic about. and both lack news etc however eng has a pending drill and seismic ... this can't be said for unx. so really, where's the comparison to be made beyond the fact that the holders of either or both know of the other?
4. back to low-renter ... people don't buy these stocks based on anything more than hopes 'n dreams. speculation. you're not gonna win a poker game or a lottery if you buy your ticket or lay chips down AFTER the results. jesus christ, how difficult is that to understand? this is not potash or apple or bhp ... they're venture resource plays ... nothing more, nothing less. none of them really HAVE anything ... you buy these stocks based solely on possibilities. nobody is going to sell you eng shares for .50 or .60. or even 1.00 AFTER they find black gold ... IF they find it.
