Management on the road _ Thermophosphate

Management on the road _ Thermophosphate

Management is scheduled for meetings this week, last week, and next week with institutional investors in New York and "strategic" European country(ies).

"Thermo-phosphate is recognized as a premium product in Brazil that has been successfully marketed for over 40 years. It is recognized for its long retention time in soils, which is important in an environment where heavy tropical rains often wash away, or significantly dilute, highly soluble product nutrients such as KCl (potassium chloride, most commonly used potassium mineral for fertilizer). "

"Thermophosphates are widely used in Brazil and
Fig. 2 shows the response of sugar cane stems to different
P sources in the 'cerrado' region. Thermophosphate
produced the highest yield decreasing with different
phosphate rocks applied. The main limitation
to thermophosphate production in Brazil is the cost of
electrical energy (Scheid et al., 1991)."
