Not going Well
Not going WellThings aren't going well at Cantung. Morale is low. The company cut back the miner's hours and are paying lousy bonus. Guys are quitting. The aren't paying out RRSP's which every company in the country are. They're making people pay their own way to BC pick-up points which eliminates most people from outside BC. They're headed for a work force of greenhorns or burnt out old miners who don't care or can't find work elsewhere. Production will drop. The COO is apparently disliked by everyone because of his chintzy approach to pay. The mechanics are using baling wire, duct tape and glue to keep the equipment running because the COO won't give the green light to order the parts. He ordered the Underground Super to start raping the high grade stuff because everyone is behind schedule including the long hole production. The Super wants to blend the high grade with low grade for a balanced approach. Short term gain for long term pain. The contractor Procon is way behind schedule on development and production. The company development miners are twiddling their thumbs because there are not enough headings.
Sold my stock last week. Good luck to all.
