RE: Staring matches I enjoyed your analogy to a staring match. Remember the largest part of this resource is in private hands, mostly patient, educated, wealthy hands.
I share your sense of anticipation. something about to change  and my bet its another increase in the size of the pit. 
Any ideas out there how much it would cost to set up a 30 - 50k ton p/d mine?
 The recent SSP release implies things could be up and running way before many of the similar scale african deposits, much less going thru N.A. enviro. permitting etiquette for our relatively smaller remaining discoveries.
