Invesco Emerging Markets Sovereign Debt ETF V.PCY

Primary Symbol: PCY

The investment seeks to track the investment results (before fees and expenses) of the DBIQ Emerging Market USD Liquid Balanced Index (the underlying index). The fund generally will invest at least 80% of its total assets in U.S. dollar-denominated government bonds from emerging market countries that comprise the underlying index. The underlying index measures potential returns of a theoretical portfolio of liquid emerging market U.S. dollar-denominated government bonds.

Fast Moving Events.....

Fast Moving Events.....As Prophecy brings coal operations online, it should be noted that said events will be fast moving and provide a news rich environment.  Although weeks, let alone a few hours, can seem like eternity for investors. The next few months are going to be loaded with announcements.

"Prophecy has received several Russian written expressions of interest and is working to finalize coal sales (off take) contracts with Russian entities" Nov 11, 2010 PR

What about coal sales in Mongolia itself (ie: did we not already truck some coal?). China? The long story short is that we are not waiting on just one off take agreement. News as to any agreement is not the end but rather the beginning.

"The DEIA approval is a major milestone clearing the way for full scale permitting in early 2011." Nov 15, 2010 PR

Although PCY has cautioned that discussions are in the early stages, the permitting process has already been initiated. Here, I doubt Mongolia will diddle daddle on the process and could even fast track the same. With permits in hand, discussions can quickly turn into action. Hence, news on such things as power off take agreements, design/construction of plant and transmission lines can be had in short order.

To close, two more cents to toss onto the pile of opinion and discussion.
