Everytime I hear this kind of rhetoric I reflect back to maybe 8-10 years ago and up to a maybe a couple of years back, when every year in the spring [as I recall]  the armchair analysts would be predicting a real slowdown in growth for the Chinese economy. Instead of the 7-8% increase it had achieved in the previous year it wouldn't be able to keep up the pace and would likely fall off in the upcoming year to 4-5%.  Well I don't think it has happened yet and it's a safe bet it won't happen in 2011 and going forward.
