RE: ottawa newspaper articleFirst, it takes time to build these units.  I would guess that it would take about 8 weeks minimum if rushed to get one built with supply chain lead times, etc..   Secondly,  they won't start building these units until they have an order for them.  This is not something they just have sitting around.   Thirdly, most funding for this would come from government which as we all know is not the fastest in releasing funds.

From what I can tell, these units belong to the Cdn military and are being used in Haiti.  Of course this might mean that the Cdn military will order more but there has been no announcement on this yet and Seprotech is usually pretty quick to publish large orders.

Yes Haiti would be a prime example and show piece for Seprotech if they could get their act in order.
