RE: Getting back to the matter at hand!whiteriver...Elliot Lake welcomes minning to the area and have stated so in news releases I have seen on our local news.....Al has been in Japan......trying to secure a partner of backer for taking this to production....hoping he can secure fianancing....or guarantees of purchase of REE'S....I beleive Al went on to China to secure processing....as there is not one processing plant in all the Americas.....In the US...Molycorp has a seperation plant for light REE'S but have to send it still to china..for final processing......Gem should apply to the federal government to help build a state of the art processing facilty..... as it would be the only one in Nort America.....In 1980 Rees minning in United States ceased because they could not compete with China as labour is just to cheap there.....REE minning is picking up in the states...as well as here in Canada....and a processing plant would draw in all contracts for processing...would bring in lots of extra revenue......Similar to Canaco's U308 plant in Blind River.......JIMHO......I am not an expert, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn, last night!!!!!!!!!!!!
