Brief UpdateI recently contacted the company and, once again, they responded to all inquiries I posed. I must say that I am very impressed with management/staff and their willingness to respond to questions and the expediency of which they do it. They have stated that should anyone have any questions they should contact the company's IR department, and they'd be more than happy to update shareholders. Jay Oness (CFO) and Spiros Cacos (IR) deserve kudos for their approach.
As far as the recent hearing goes, a ruling is expected "shortly".They expect that issues in their petition will be sent to arbitration which is what ELN management wants, and based on their overwhelming support documentation, the company should easily prevail.
They also currenlt have two Sr. geologists in Africa carrying out due diligence on a variety of projects, but there is nothing firm yet as per acquisitions. They stated that management is committed to making all efforts to build shareholder value.
I guess that's it for now. Hopefully we get some news in the next short while announcing some developments on the proceedings, property acquisition or Votorantim JV.
