RE: Time to change OPC BOD and Management?
Well, I have no opinion on changing the board. Of course, I have no idea of who the replacement would be.
The reserve numbers are interesting, however, a main question which keeps popping up in my mind is the number of recoverable barrels. I have to think that would play a role on the interest of a buyer in the existing project. Of course the undeveloped areas might have good potential but seem like an unknown.
Maybe the idea is to try to sell a 15% interes in the landst for a good portion of the debt and the buyer covers 25% of the expenses the Long Lake project. It would likely make a difference if OPC had to pay 10% rather than 35%. It's an idea and I don't have any idea how viable it would be or if a buyer would be interested.
