I just got off of the phone with Don who is the investor relations firm work for Nordic Oil and Gas.
Here is what he has told me in short order.
-It would be conceivable to say that NOG could increase its well total by 50% for the upcoming year. Most notitably in the Loydminster area as this is the area of growth for the company.
-The Endeavor project has been delayed by a day or two due to contractors not having all their gear on the site. We should hear something next week in regards to what we have or dont have after drilling takes place.
What Don can say is that in 2007 in regards to the two wells drilled: One well had the drill bit break going thru the hard rock so the well was capuuut!. The other well had signs of oil but it wasnt viable. The good news though was the fact that oil was present when they drilled.
Since the last drilling took place the company has done more seismic work on this site. They had their oil and gas guys on the ground and some of the oil seeps found were meters apart in size. The belief is that there is plenty of oil there its just a question of where to place the well. Hopefully their DD will pay off. If there are any doubters of this then I would suggest you ask yourself why:
has Donald Benson, the CFO and Don Bain has purchased more shares in the company
why has 1 fund jumped into the first financing and another wants in on the next one(currently underway)
Why is the financing basically closed(all bought up just waiting for the money to come in now to confirm).
There is alot of belief in Endeavor and the insiders are putting their money where their mouth is.
I can tell you that Hunt Oil is working with NOG on the Endeavor project although NOG has 100% ownership of this site. The cost to drill the two wells at endeavor will run $1 million dollars. I am told they would be ecstatic if they only get 10-15 bopd at this site as it would indicate that there is more oil elsewhere. There is a chance however of blue sky potential here if they do hit something big. There are currently no other companies working this area for Oil. Most working this area are seeking Shale gas.
I can tell you that if there is a hit big or small the stock will nodoubtably rise alot and you can count on bigger funds stepping on in with capital to push more drilling forward in this region. The company would look at doing another financing at much higher prices if this is the case.
I should mention to you that I do hold a good sized holding in this company. All of the information can be obtained or verified directly by calling Don at investor relations.
I think the challenge for investors right now is:
Do you invest now while the stock is low. If we get positive news from Endeavor this stock will hit .30 cents or more. If we miss it goes down. However we do have many prospects so I wouldnt think the downside is rock bottom.
Financing is basically closed. If someone doesnt pony up their money then they will reopen it up but there are more than enough people lined up to fill so essentially its closed right now. So if you are an investor waiting on the announcement of the second financing tranche being closed well it basically is already.
Price of Oil is high so its a good time in the oil and gas industry. Its just a matter of how soon do we get the wells online if they are positive at Endeavor. We will have to await the news.
I hope that this information is informative. Cheers
