NayNay
NayNayGreat posts Naterey and Northsun. Glad to see you posting again Northsun.
Straight from the professor behind Nay Nay's research...
https://www.azonano.com/details.asp?ArticleId=2470
The professor licensing to NayNay stated 0.42% efficiency in the article based on 1 sun irradiance (1000 watts/m^2). This would equate to a ~4.2 watts/m^2 ... hmmm... how many 3ft x 3 ft windows to run a 50 watt light bulb... ~12..... and those 12 windows better be facing the sun. I don't know how many windows your houses have - but my home doesn't have enough windows to run a few bulbs.
They even go on to tout how well the cell works with artificial light calling it "sunless solar". From thermodynamics we know that efficiency of such a process can't reach unity and at those low efficiencies it is pretty much useless. Who would power at 100 watt bulb the old fashioned way to get 0.42 watts of energy from the Nene cell?
