Part of something bigger

Part of something biggerI heard Putin was not well received in Germany recently because of the Russian way of doing business and he went away from that meeting with a new view that Russian firms are going to have to welcome the west if they expect the west to welcome them.  If Putin wants it Putin gets it.
As for Severstal the modis operandi has remained the same as anyone looking to buy out a partner.  Partner says my share is worth lots, other partner says your stuff aint worth sh#@t.
Don't underestimate these guys - They waited out Napoleon and Hitler and they will wait out the weak among us but the bottom line is the management operations are the best I have seen in terms of turning an otherwise dead company around (granted Gold had a lot to do with it)  So naturally they would feel that it was because of their efforts so why extend any to the remaining shareholders - Unless they need us.
I hear a lot of impatience when at the end of the day there is more REAL to this stock than 99% of the crap out there.  I intend to hold at least 50,000 shares of this one forever.  I may sell some of it at some future date but I will hold onto the 50,000 shares of an appreciating asset rather than be in a rush to buy a depreciating asset (dollars)
Anyone remember 1981?  I bought a 1978 Granada new for $4,800 and sold it in 1981 for $5200.  Inflation is heading this way so you better own Gold or Gold stock
