The timing of the News Release

The timing of the News ReleaseAs I have read in several recent posts, the comment regarding late news = bad news is one I don't quite fully understand.  Would love to get comments from those who have a better understanding of the inner workings of junior mining stocks.

In my little delusional world - they drill, send the core to the lab, await the results and then release them immediately after upon preparation of the press release.  Most of this process is out of their control.

Are what you guys are saying is that they can tell precisely what they have found prior to the lab analysis and since it wasn't much, they have been dragging their feet either in employing the lab or shelving the results?  All the new land claims could potentially support this theory (ie - our current Yukon projects are sh*t).  I would have expected the size of the flow-through to be larger though as $2.6MM will not be even close to sufficient to pay for all the things SQI has on the go.

Maybe this will get them through drilling and results on Slate and they are rolling the bones hoping for a higher share price and more interest to raise more at that point?  Its official, I'm a little unsure about what to do with my position......
