Dibah42, I have no disdain for the poor and vulnerable. But I do feel significant disdain for lefties and self-defined progressives who constantly promote so-called equitable policies that clearly hurt poor people. That disdain is especially reserved for unionized public sector workers and the increasingly reactionary and populist New Democratic Party (NDP).
I feel disdain for political leaders and activists who exploit people for their stupidity. But don't get all holier than thou on folks in the private sector when those in public life like economist-trained, "trust me", prime minister Steven Harper don't seem to care. He and his honest, decent, caring Conservative party government set the ground rules.
