Good Postings & Happy HolidaysYear over year I agree they have a better understanding of where not to look of course. Looks like the Condor deal came back on the table. Anybody know how much was put down of the first 2 million so far. Market seems to say a good chunk at least 1/2 to 1 mill possibly to date. This shallow drilling is it closer to the river as they seem to wonder last year. The alluvial miners for years had been pan handling there..ever since before the days of the conquistadors no doubt. If its on top means it had to come from somewhere below whether upstream downstream or straight down..My guess is very close leached out of the banks on there concessions. Would explain the shallow drilling phase at least to try a few in the river area up to the north west was it.. DM had reasons for expressing that area. One it would be well into there concession, two its has a high IP anomaly charge and maybe not all magnetite this time. If its strong on top then maybe its got roots. the FDN II doesn't always have to correlate to FDN. Basing the principle of ever changing faulting dating of each sub terrain/marine molten moves. FDN II if it exist could be older/shallow or newer/deeper or down dipped even upwards/tipped. If Kinross's latest drill program in FDN has revealed extensions of further significant faults pointing in EC direction, then its a win win for both in the end. Until then I think there's a lot of due diligence on both sides that is still in the workings to be revealed next year
Conclusion year over year although the stock has taking its lumps, management as well, I give them a good rating in my books for perseverance. They overcame the Brasil fiasco's and ascertain the MN permits, the got very re-creative in there mandate to sell the Condor and they now are looking quite capable of going back into the the RZ...and let's not forget about the ville de tigre concessions north of the RZ either. I think I'll pass this one over for tax loss selling before year-end settlement. Its a keeper.. 2011 could be EC's year and then sum
