Just in case Lab results aren't in until the New Year..........might be a very positive sign of high gold values.
Below is a repeat of one of my posts that refers to the metallurgy but not in the technical aspects which could be quite complicated. I would add that open pit mining is much more economical than pushing shafts and is a very desirable aspect of an ore body that can be open pit mined!
Looking at the posted results, the copper analysis in themselves would be sufficient to set up a mining operation provided that the tonnage is there.
As I posted before, copper values of %0.20 could support commercial mining operation provided that the tonnage is there and the metalurgy works out, which seems to be the case this early. (Proof at nearby smelter?) The copper values on average are considerably higher in these results!
I believe that what the company is trying to do, is determine approximate total area first, then depth.
Often copper deposits consist of two zones, a gene and a deeper super-gene below. In cases that I have seen the shallow ore body is like a beaver buried nose first in the ground, with the flat tail shallow, but tilting down toward the main ore body. Below (the beaver) and at greater depth (but touching) is the supergene body (often an elephant). Mooreman would probably be more familiar with these structures than I. Corrections welcome!!!
I don't know if it makes sense to all, but from my point of view I can see what they are trying to determine, and will await the next 10 hole analysis to further my knowledge, since this ore body is new to me, but I am starting to get whiffs of a huge potential! The larger the ore body, the longer the time it will take to drillout , determine tonnages and develope. In the mean time share values would increase with each step.
In any case, the copper values far surpass the required %age for economical copper mining. The silver, lead, zinc and (did I read somewhere rare earth elements too?) are excellent pluses in this case raising the value per ton. The nearby smelter or concentrator with similar ore structure proves the economic/metallurgical feasibility of our ore body. Recovery technology is already at hand.
From %ages of metals, what the analysis shows is that there will be a mine here providing that tonnage reserves can be proven up. Tonnage is what we do not know. Metal values-exceptional!
However, too, it should be noted that silver values are much higher compared to most Canadian silver deposits. There are very few purely silver plays in the world,,,,,,Mexico being the world leader. Most silver plays are shallow deposits....I don't know why.
Silver buyers were unable to procure sufficient silver inventory for their needs in 2010 and the shortage will esculate in 2011 bringing up silver prices much higher. (BNN report Dec. 22/10)
As I mentioned before I bought shares purely on the Reserve property, and consider the Nash, and SJ as bonuses.
Latest results...just another step in the right direction. An ore body, like an infant, has to learn to walk first, before it can run.
