RE: silver used to replace palladiumThe headline is a little misleading.

An Alloy of Silver + Rhodium to replace palladium.  With Rhodium north of $2300 per ounce, I hope this alloy contains lots of silver and very little rhodium, or it just ain't gonna be economic.  Given that they didn't mention the ratio of rhodium to silver in any of the articles I've read on this one, I suspect that we're not going to like the answer.

As usual, the devil is in the details, and they leave out the important detail.
