RE: wish we could delete our stupid postsYeah, the Playbook will come with wifi but it cannot connect to the mobile networks on it's own as it needs to be tethered to a BB.
I think this is just a marketing tool as the early adopters will buy the first model then 6 months later they will introduce the 3g/4g playbook model. The technology is there already but they know what they are doing....one thing RIM does well is execution...and I think their plan for the Playbook will work out very well.
