RE: China needs MPE

RE: China needs MPEThanks for the researched article and for posting it here. China certainly has it's environment issues to consider with the recent floods and mudslides. MPE really should be able to sell every seedling that it can produce and hopefully with the addition of the second greenhouse, additional volume. IMHO, where the problem exists  for MPE's seedling growing project is that it is relatively unknown in the China. Also, if the Gov't is to deploy a lot of funding to reforestation and tree-planting, they might consider a bigger and more established company. Where Raymond needs to deliver is with his contacts and network in China. If he can get his "foot in the door," and gain a favourable rapport with the powers that be, then I can see this taking off for them.

Although reforestation had been the core business for MPE, my hopes lie with their other projects and joint ventures that are coming online. While the seedlings can certainly add to the bottom line, I believe it would take a substantial contract  from the Chinese Gov't, and unfortunately that just has not happened in prior years.
