RE: NTL

RE: NTL"She and another good source told me that the Ministers will sign NTLsoon after the EAO approval.  I was told they are just waiting for thedocuments to be placed on their desk to sign off."

1) That's good intelligence Vette. Thanks. That tells us that the people in the provincial legislature are 'armed and ready' with their pens. That's good to know.
2) I'm just not sure if the Feds will render this a "fully-approved" Environmental Assessment yet. That's the kicker - the unknown - as I see it. If the Feds demand a little bit more work, then it doesn't matter if the Provincial EA Office and the ministers are ready to approve and sign, there'll be more delay.

IF THE FEDS DO officially approve the EA in the next few days, THEN it sounds like we'll have an official NTL approval immediately thereupon -- and possibly even BEFORE January 23rd. AND THAT WOULD BE TREMENDOUS for us all. Fingers crossed and THAT is what would be the most helpful for Elmer, Ernesto, and all of us and the good hard working people of the interior BC.
