RE: VEN news...

RE: VEN news...I do not think it really matters to the market that both VEN and GSL are reporting great additional drill results. It is a "so what". VEN and GWY are locked in limbo until GSL gets their environmental permit. It is no longer about the Paramo issue, the Government put that to bed when they agreed to review the GSL Impact Study.

It is now about the water sources and the paranoia over mining contamination. If GSL is denied permit (highly unlikely) then VEN and GWY are also in trouble since they also need access to the same water source. I am afraid we all go sideways until GSL gets sorted out. Once that happens we will all rocket. GSL is the trailblazer for all new mining in Colombia. There is a lot at stake for the Government, mining investment dies if GSL is denied. I am not so sure Batista will go back to the table right away, but it will be interesting to see if he does. If he does, then he is confident that he can overcome the GSL problems.
