Wells are usually announced with maximum production rates.  There are two wells at Chia Surkh which produced
at200 bbls/day and declined to 25 bbls/day in less than one day.  So that200 bbls/day is definitely not a low ball figure when comparing totodays'  technology.

If the 4800 bbls/day was initial production and declined rapidly as well,  then it makes sense as to why it was left
for 75 years... and why they aren't re-entering this well.

Maysteeler,  are you saying that the 4800 bbls/day was already subject to a decline from initial flush production?
