RE: RE: RE: RE: Maybe this new report...Zep...you have summed it all up perfectly ... "an offer for MCC (from Endo) that'll send him back Down Under a wealthy man" (that us shareholders can accept).
And, McRae will still have the Animal and Food Health Divisions that brings him "back to his roots" and what he enjoys best (imho). Notice where all the deals and progress (outside of Urocidin) have been made in the past year?
As you recall at the AGM, Dr. Morales conveyed the story of the infamous phone call to Mr. McRae for a sample of MCC in development (about a decade ago if I recall). That changed the destiny of Bioniche and for Mr McRae. In McRae's own words... "We created a company to try to develop technologies that could replace antibiotics (for food producing animals). That technology works, but was put on the shelf when we found the technology also works as a very effective treatment for bladder cancer (for humans)."
However, with the development of a "cure for cancer" (the holy grail) came one big, expensive, complicated, highly-regulated development process nightmare best suited for the academia types. McRae's a smart and shrewd guy, but I sense most comfortable with Vets, on the ranch and having a business that is focused on that.
To start 2011, Bioniche now has this great big bank account from the proceeds of new and further-committed supportive investors. No longer living from milestone payment-to-milestone payment from Endo (with Animal Health profits topping it up). A great position to be in, particularly if now bargaining with Endo, as you elude to the possibility. And, I hope you are right.
Enjoyed reading your post this morn, responding and now off to make money the hard way.
