I want to carry your comment that Jerrit Canyon has not produced 200,000 ozs au for years a little farther. I have just done a fruitless search of Jerrit Canyon production of gold and could not find the last time 200,000 ozs au were produced there. Maybe someone else could help us on that. However I did find that Queenstake produced 150,000 ozs of gold at Jerrit. It was in 2006, and about 12 precent of that was from ore purchased from Newmont. The rest was from mining three (3) of the Jerrit mines. Then Queenstake promptly closed two (2) of those mines since they were so uneconomical to operate . Queenstake was then on the brink of bankruptcy from their losses in 2006, and along came YNG. And the rest is" history" A few facts and JMHO ICE.
