RE: RE: RE: RE: NORTHGUYIt's true that all insiders do not have insider information as I work in a 3000+ employee firm and I speak regularly with higher-ups. Some have absolutely no idea what is going on. However, one interesting thing is that they do know who else is selling, get nervous and follow suit. In that respect, they're like everyone else with their eyes on the stock price. I can also tell you that they receive a salary that does not necessarily reflect their lifestyle (even though its more then adequate). To make up the difference, they rely on their share packages.
I would also think that they are very aware of the effect that their transactions have on those following the market and probably sometimes sell shares in order to buy-back at a lower price.
