RE: RE: RE: RE: BCG matrix and Nuvo

RE: RE: RE: RE: BCG matrix and NuvoThird valuations change with the fundamentals. Nuvo ownership was diluted as a means of financing the FDA approval process.
Amongst other things...it also served to fill the pockets of Chicoine, London, Guntermann & Co. When you think about it, these guys have been rewarding themselves with out-of-this world packages ever since they took over. It took them 5 years (!) to get the product approved, they mismanaged the approval decision and we find ourselves at .18 14 months after approval. Last year, I calculated that their compensation alone was responsible for around 20% of the dilution they forced on us since they took over.
This level of compensation is unacceptable when the company needs to further dilute itself just to sustain it. I find it very telling that Chicoine doesn't own shares in this company...last I checked, he only has options. It would have nice of him to spend some of his solid gold compensation package (paid by US) to purchase some shares on the open market...
They signed with Covidien, but most of the parameters of the deal are secret...hence the hopeful here keep expecting a milestone payment. Yet no one knows for sure how the post approval milestones are setup. We don't know what the actual royalty rate is...Judging by their past performance, I would not be surprised to learn that the Covidien deal is actually a bad one when ones look at the significant elements (which we can't do because they are secret!).
I think that the London interview on CBC was also very telling...anyone who believes that this guy is worth half-a-mil a year is using something much stronger than Pennsaid. And he had the nerve to talk about creating shareholer value...the only thing he was able to create so far is insider value...
Their constant lack of transparency is also troubling...anyone working in sales in the pharma  industry has access to IMS Rx sales data, hence to Pennsaid sales. Yet this must also be considered secret because they never disclose it (we have to rely on leaked IMS data posted here by a good soul who has access).
We got ourselves a team of used car salesmen...the Rolls-Royce that they promised us turned out to be a 30 years old rusted Lada...
Maybe the pep boys should have sticked to car parts...
Can't wait for the Covidien takeover...this team has demonstrated time and again that they are not worth what WE are paying them.
