Northern Oil and Gas, Inc. is a real asset company that focuses on acquiring and investing in non-operated minority working and mineral interests in the hydrocarbon producing basins within the contiguous United States. Its business is crude oil and natural gas exploration, development, and production with operations in the United States. Its 300,000-acre portfolio is distributed across the Williston, Permian and Appalachia Basins. Its portfolio comprises 300,000 acres of low-breakeven land with over 10,000 wells. Diversified by basin and across commodity type, its wells are operated by over 100 public and private operators. It engages in oil and natural gas exploration and production by participating on a proportionate basis alongside third-party interests in wells drilled and completed in spacing units that include its acreage. Conjecture

Conjectureand Hypothesis, are all we have at our disposal until a definitive NR. These can be highly enlightening at times and sometimes humorous. The only small black cloud on my NOG horizon is when it was posted (forget who posted this infor) that the company is moving ahead with well 2 approximately 2 miles (kms) away from the first well. I have no real knowledge of oil or how it forms deposits. Playing the devils advocate here, IF well (1) had a positive economic flow rate would you move that far away from it approx. (2kms) or would you change the original drilling program and perhaps apply for a license closer to well (1). I realize that wells have to be drilled in order to positively map a resource, but it would appear to me that they have not encountered anything to alter the original plan. On the positive side perhaps all their pre-drill work has been substantiated and the possible resource is such that drilling that distance away will still intersect the resource. Like i stated all conjecture and hypothesis.
