After tax NPV of US$ 960.0M and IRR of 17.7% (After tax, long term copper price of US$2.25 /lb, and 8% discount rate)
Copper Production to Average 262 million Pounds per Year Over Mine Life of 22 Years

Capex : $1.56 Billion

 

Comparison with Antares (Preliminary Economic Assessment) which was Acquired for $.077 cents per pound of Copper.

 

After tax NPV = US$ 1.07 billion and IRR = 16.4% (Base case of US$2.25/lb Cu, 8% discount)

Average annual copper production of 425 million pounds for 20 year mine life

Capex : $2.82 Billion

 

N.B. As you can see with the comparison above, getting $.077 cents per pound of Copper is a possibility.
