CIC picks Toronto for NA office

CIC picks Toronto for NA officeThere was mention the other day that the CIC has chosen Toronto as their NA office rather than New York.  Believe article also said had 100 B or so to invest in companies, resource, etc.  When the Japanese had an inbalance of trade in the 1980's, they invested in movie studios and bought a lot of real estate in NY.  Then, market sort of collapsed.  However, with the CIC, will be investing in resource etc companies, looking for supplies for their future.  Along with SK minister trade show in Shanghai, former and present wall street of the East and no doubt, world shortly, should help all companies in SK.
There was talk that BQI probably needed JR rich partner to help them in financing, help on the way!!!!
There was mention no debt and money to fall 2011, however, SAGD operations will cost hundreds of millions, either take on debt/dilution/shares or like UTS, sell % in company.  However, still downside, look at OPTI, CLL, as both are producing, debt holding price of their stock down.
Any other comments?
