RE: RE: sold about 1/2Good40...............Why would the company willingly pay a 40% royalty?  If this is a "sure thing", at least in managements mind, then its understandable that the royalty commitment would be made. Why else would they pay 30% more than other Kurd plays are paying?  Did they pay a royalty premium for the block anticipating that it would be faster to bring production on stream than the other Kurd plays?
