You seem perfectly willing to accept the ridiculous statements in his blogs.

Lets give our heads a shake..... Because it is claimed that Sadam Hussein planned to develop field, this is now a hot deal? Yes when Sadam talked, everyone used to listen!

I would prefer to research technical publications and the old company reports. but hey, I'm not trying to convince anyone, just offering some new info and insights which if you want to totally disregard , well good luck.

When you check this memoir, there is  a pretty good account of most of the chia surkh wells and the surface studies which drew attention to the area such as "copious seepages of oil". of course for those not having an oil background, surface seepages may not necessarily be a good thing and might indicate poor seal. Sterling had a good surface structure with lots of seepages on the surface on their block, but have now reported that the Shiranish is wet in their well. Oil on the surface is good for promotional pics, but may indicate a poor seal.
