AMERIX PRECIOUS METALS ANNOUNCES NEW PRESIDENT AND CEO AND GRANTS STOCK OPTIONS

Steve Brunelle will be joining Amerix Precious Metals Corp. aspresident and chief executive officer, effective immediately. Mr.Brunelle is a Canadian geologist with over 29 years of experience inmineral exploration throughout the Americas. He has been an officer anddirector of several resource companies, most recently, Stingray CopperInc., and prior to that, Corner Bay Silver Inc. At Stingray Copper, theMexican bulk mineable oxide copper deposit, El Pilar, was taken tofeasibility in 2009 and, thereafter, Stingray was merged with MercatorMinerals Ltd. At Corner Bay Silver, the bulk mineable silver depositAlamo Dorado was taken to feasibility and the company was acquired byPan American Silver Corp. Mr. Brunelle is presently a director of DuranVentures Inc., Escape Gold Inc. and Messina Minerals Inc.
The company also wishes to announce that Jeffrey Reeder is appointedexecutive chairman of Amerix and he will continue to be activelyinvolved in the company's exploration and development programs.
The company also announces that a total of three million options topurchase common shares of the company have been granted to Mr. Brunelleat an exercise price of 12.5 cents per share, expiring on Jan. 25, 2016.The grant is subject to regulatory approval.
