RE: RE: Traders Trap

RE: RE: Traders TrapQuint,  While I totally agree with you on the needs of an aging population,  I also have no doubt we as a species are in serious overshoot.  Our population has expanded from less than 2 billion to now over 7 billion in less than a century.  The path of studying this phenom is what led me to U investing.  Its really the last energy source we have left to exploit over a significant period of time.  Population has been able to increase due to the expansion of foodstuffs which is a result of technology and fossil fuels which are truly like magic as they allow a lot us to live like the kings of old or better.  As the fossil fuel sources approach depletion we will no longer have an energy inheritance to subsidize our lifestyles.  This will mean we have to live off our energy income...the sun.
How mankind nutures and conserves our energy inheritances will determine how quickly the descent is upon us.  So far we aren't looking so good.
