Although the large float gives small per share valuation which might scare potential investors away in expectation of share consolidation.
I personally thought that they can somehow capitalise on the niche market selling pure refined chromium at a steep mark-up to the typical price for the metal on the market if they come to an agreement with Xstrata to use their Noranda facilities which can electrolytically refine copper. It thus shouldn't represent major difficulties once they have to process and further refine chromium to produce the extra pure grade selling for 10,000$ per ton...
Mind you, maybe some other sweet deals are in the works. With the mining business you never know what to expect in that regard with the fine print occasionally being the only proof of a bonanza ! I mention this following my personal investigations into the holdings of defuct McWatters corporation. The fine print in the books indicated it as owning the fully held subsidiary Minorca a small mining exploration company which held a 10% particpation in the Grasberg deposit in Indonesia in conjunction with Freeport McMoran such as indicated in a late 1999 issue of the Northern Miner ... The value of the Grasberg deposit is tremendous...
Mind you , once big money is involved, apart from well organised crooks out to get a buck, conspiracy theories abound which fuel the imagination of fools !
