Invesco Emerging Markets Sovereign Debt ETF V.PCY

Primary Symbol: PCY

The investment seeks to track the investment results (before fees and expenses) of the DBIQ Emerging Market USD Liquid Balanced Index (the underlying index). The fund generally will invest at least 80% of its total assets in U.S. dollar-denominated government bonds from emerging market countries that comprise the underlying index. The underlying index measures potential returns of a theoretical portfolio of liquid emerging market U.S. dollar-denominated government bonds.

RE: Comparisons ...

RE: Comparisons ...Well aebestacey, the way you put it, looks like the markets are giving Mongolian companies like SouthGobi a higher valuation than their Canadian counterparts.

So which ones are the better investments?

I would say the market knows best and the markets are stating this fact buy valuing SGQ much higher that WTN.  Eventually, being so  close to the 2 largest markets in the world will be the deciding economic factor.  Also, valuations will eventually align themselves with better operational efficiencies.

As well, it's not always a good thing to compare companies just on EPS alone.  I haven't done enough investigating, but there are other fators such as "reserves", and as I mentioned, "logistics" and distance to their buyers.  GLTA
