RE: Gold bug gets testy

RE: Gold bug gets testyI believe that the reason the gold bugs get testy is because of the disinformation.

1. You cant eat gold.
You cant eat paper money either both have to be exchanged for something else.

2. Gold is in a bubble.
Paper dollars have lost 97% of their purchasing power since they were set free from the gold standard in 1913. At the time gold was $35 an ounce. Just to keep pace with the loss of purchasing power gold should be in the 3k range.

3. Gold is at an all time high.
This purposefully removes the effects of inflation which would put the all time high in the 3k range.

Quite frankly I don't get emotional on this issue myself. I believe that people have to make up their own minds and the market will eventually decide.

Unfortunately i don't think the majority of the paper dollar people share this belief.
It will be them that will later this decade be pushing for a windfall profits tax on the miners to bail out all the poor people that were hurt by inflation.
