Jan 03, 2011 – According to a recent feasibility report preparedby the AMEC, Vancouver's Avanti Kitsault molybdenum mining project tosee its tremendous economic value. The mine's reserves have beenrevealed for the detection and 298.8 million tons,metal powder,molybdenum grade of 0.072%, also have speculated that 157.1 million tonsof resources, a grade of 0.05%. According to a recent program, the mineplant put into operation in 2014,silicon powder, will cost 770 millionU.S. dollars early.
Feasibility plan shows the open pit mine can be guaranteed deliveryday,silicon dioxide powder, 40,000 tons of molybdenum ore to aconventional flotation plant. Molybdenum will dry into the bag fortransportation. Mine life of 16 years, during which produces 326,160tons of molybdenum concentrate.
Kitsault before the mine is located 140 km north of Prince RupertCity. Between the 1968-1972 and 1981-1982 have been mined,silicon powdersupplier, during production reached 3 million pounds of molybdenum.
