Soros

SorosWhy didn't Soros lend them the money to purchase the increased working interest ?  They are now stuck with a 40% royalty compared to the initial 10%.

If Soros is long term,  then why wouldn't they approach him?  Surely,  if the play is a sure thing,  wouldn't he rather
the economics be reasonable.  The company will now pay a 40% royalty.  The company has a 40% working interest.
That knocks the heck out of 5000 bopd if they happen to significantly increase the oil column.  If they don't,  it doesn't matter.
