RE: RE: Worried about extra Internet data fees? Hotechperson:  A conflict of interest?  Ultimately bad for Canada on the whole?   How?  And is it 'bandwidth capping' or bandwidth metering, aka user pay that bothers you?

Are you suggesting that incumbents that built the network should allow new entrants to free ride on expensive infrastructure paid for by somebody else? 

Righteous free riding has a long, popular tradition in this country of causing fish stocks to collapse and urban air sheds to fill up with deadly particulate matter.  Just to name two examples.

Why should low-bandwidth consumers cross-subsidize the services enjoyed by high-bandwidth consumers?   For reasons of 'equity'?
