Gem Have to respectfully disagree with FullHouse, PumpandDumper and others who like to make sport out of their defamatory and malicious attacks on Al and Pele management.
Firstly Al in my opinion has been steadfast in keeping the Elliot Lake Project alive and moving forward when times were bleak (2008 meltdown). Any "prudent" manager would have mothballed Elliot Lake under the 2008 junior mining disaster and would have been applauded for such actions, Al did not. He kept key staff on and quietly moved the project ahead at a slower pace. This was done in a distressed uranium market and a static REE market. I myself questioned Al over this and he held fast to his vision of a return to a higher uranium prices and his belief that REE's would hold increasing strategic value in future. He was right and shareholders are being rewarded. I know Al is an avid gold bug and is a great believer that gold is real money, making his decision to move forward in tough times all the more far-seeing.
To say Al is a commodity chaser is absurd, these are just allegations posters like FullHouse and PumpandDumper like to sling at people to serve their own agendas. As far as the volatility in the stock price, there is allot of "hot money" chasing the next best thing and unfortunately with computer trading, black box trading, companies like Gem are in the middle of all this whether they like it or not. I certainly don't like it however this has nothing to do with Al. Do these same posters phone up Mark Smith and deride him for the sharp fluctuations in his stock (by the way that's Molycorp FullHouse)? No, they do not because they are too busy castigating their libellous and vitriol at good people.
Al I believe has found an asset which he believes is potentially world class and is totally dedicated to bringing that dream forward. Al understands real value and does not consider in the slightest this Penney ante nonsense being tossed at him. Al is a classy, smart man who will in my opinion bring great value to the Elliot Lake Project.
As for FullHouse2, his nasty slander is no longer posted on Stockhouse, left to where it should be in the gutter.
