As in IT guy I am aware that bandwidth costs money espicailly at peak times. No different than cars on the road at rush hour. Netflix and other live video feeds are certainly going to have a major affect bandwidth in the evening hours. I still enjoy to have my cable or satlite TV and I am willing to pay for those services. I also have high speed internet and i am not interested in Subsidizing people who want get both tv and internet at the same price. If they are using 10 times the traffic as me they should be paying more. If and when i get rid of cable tv i will be willing to pay more to watch tv via the internet. Are the overage charges to high at present? most likely yes. Can you compare Canada to Korea not a chance Canada is 100 times the size of korea with 1/3 less people. Even our city's have a population desnity of at least 10 times as dense. Putting internet and wireless infastructure in cities full of highrises is cheap not so in urban spawled cities of north america. In canada the governments right or wrongly so try to equalize the playing field so someone in a town of 300 people pays close the same for high speed internet (and other services )than those in the big city when the cost of putting the infastructure in those areas are probably 10 times the cost of a big city. I am happy to adjust my habits to stay within the guidlines and i am not planning a move to korea to save $50 a month on my internet
